Today's breakdown is for "Lost Minds, Wandering Souls Volume 5":
A different breed than the previous books, this one was more in the Fantasy lane than the Horror one. Stocked no less with that Adamczyk humor, it has familiar territory even though it feels like a new direction. I thought the plot was interesting as it began as if it was going to be revenge driven but then half-turned and ended up being a tale about multiple dimensions and Earths with female empowerment at the center of what was a sort of trilogy of mini-sagas. I liked the message it conveyed overall best about this book as it is clear that George wants you to stop and consider... and maybe you should.
3/5 stars.
