Today's breakdown is for "Blood, Dreams and Tears" by Tim Eagle:
I could tell from the beginning that I was reading a talented writer, but I did feel like a lot of the stories would have benefitted from being extended as a lot of them felt incomplete for me.
They got stronger as they went on, with the last one really angering me at the misogyny directed towards the woman in it, so I was happy when it paid off like it did.
The kink aspect of that story made me chuckle more than it probably should have, not because it was funny but more like a WTF. I actually felt quite a bit of empathy for the main character and a ton of hatred towards her antagonist. I'd be interested in seeing what else Tim Eagle has out based on this book.
