I read this book before it even made it into the brawl and it was a highlight-of-the-year read for me! As you have most likely come to know with my reviews, I value good characters and gripping plot. This has both.
I was immediately fearful for our garbage collecting friend when he accepted the box from an anxious woman along his route, but I did not expect what followed.
I mean, sure, I guessed that some creppy things might happen, but the level of creepy defied my expectations. I mean, this went well beyond creepy. I read as much as I could in each sitting and thought about it the whole time I wasn't reading it. Then once I was done, I still thought about it.
I still think about it now.
As always, no spoilers. This is a twist on the haunting/possession style trope and I am here for it.
Go give it a read, and see if you come away cursed.
